Schumacher

Ed Schumacher has worked
in the nonprofit community for forty years as a local staff member,
Executive Director, Development Director, national staff member and
consultant. For the past fifteen years he has operated a consulting
and training firm providing counsel in fund raising and management to
nonprofits nationwide.
Ed is an also an adjunct
faculty member of the University of Washington Graduate School of Public
Affairs and and instructor for the University of Washington Business
Extension Certificate in Fund Raising, the University of Washington
Graduate School of Social Work and the University of Washington-Tacoma
American Humanities Program.
He has served as keynote
speaker or seminar leader at a variety of conferences and seminars including
the Rocky Mountain Philanthropic Institute and he is the author of The
Capital Fund Raising Survival Guide.
Ed Schumacher received his
BA in English from Towson University, Masters in Education from Western
Maryland College and completed advanced degree work in management at
the University of Michigan Graduate School of Business Administration.
