A native of Seattle, Charles
Broches is Assistant Executive Vice President for Community Development
at the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle, where he is responsible
for government and community relations, Israel and overseas programs,community
outreach and other areas. He has worked on Capitol Hill serving as the
Legislative Director to former Congressman John Miller (R-WA-1) and
was the Oregon and Washington States Director for the American Israel
Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) which Fortune Magazine ranks as among
the very best lobbying organizations in the country. Dr.Broches received
his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of California, Santa
Barbara and his B.A. and M.A. in Political Science from Western Washington
University. He has published more than 20 articles.
