Peter C. BrinckerhoffPETER C. BRINCKERHOFF

 

Peter Brinckerhoff is an internationally renowned trainer, author, and consultant to nonprofit organizations. He brings years of experience in the field to his work, as he is a former board member of local, state, and national nonprofits, and has worked on the staff and as executive director of two regional nonprofits. Since founding his consulting firm Corporate Alternatives in 1982, Mr. Brinckerhoff has helped thousands of organizations become more mission-capable.

Peter's list of national clients include the YMCA of the USA, The Corporation For Public Broadcasting, BoardSource, Goodwill International, The National Rural Health Association, The Association of Baptist Foundations, The Lutheran Financial Management Association, National Industries for the Severely Handicapped, the National Association of Schools for Exceptional Children, the American Society of Association Executives, and the National Association for the Deaf.

Peter has over 60 articles published in the nonprofit press, including Nonprofit World, Contributions, Strategic Governance, Grantsmanship Center News, and Association Management. Peter is the author of the highly acclaimed books, Mission-Based Management (Second Edition), Mission-Based Management Workbook, Financial Empowerment, Mission-Based Marketing, Faith-Based Management, and Social Entrepreneurship, all published by John Wiley & Sons. The new Mission-Based Marketing-Second Edition and its associated Mission-Based Marketing Workbook have just been released. Peter's books are used as texts in undergraduate and graduate programs in nonprofit management at over 60 colleges and universities worldwide.
