The Eighth Annual Nonprofit
Leadership Conference brought leading organization development consultant,
Bud Crouch, to facilitate a focused two
day seminar on knowledge based strategic governance. Leaders from a
variety of nonprofit organizations have characterized Knowledge Based
Governance as the next place nonprofit organizations need to go.
The seminars focus
was split into two days. Designed for board-staff teams, Day 1 reviewed
and explored strategic concepts in pursuit of successful goals. Day
2 focused on defining and assuring the support necessary from leadership
staff for successful strategic governance.
An added feature to this
conference was a reception at the end of the first day for participants
and others from Washingtons nonprofit community to celebrate the
start of Volunteer Month and the future success of nonprofit endeavors.
