The Eighth Annual Nonprofit Leadership Conference brought leading organization development consultant, Bud Crouch, to facilitate a focused two day seminar on knowledge based strategic governance. Leaders from a variety of nonprofit organizations have characterized Knowledge Based Governance as the next place nonprofit organizations need to go.

The seminar’s focus was split into two days. Designed for board-staff teams, Day 1 reviewed and explored strategic concepts in pursuit of successful goals. Day 2 focused on defining and assuring the support necessary from leadership staff for successful strategic governance.

An added feature to this conference was a reception at the end of the first day for participants and others from Washington’s nonprofit community to celebrate the start of Volunteer Month and the future success of nonprofit endeavors.

Donna Cameron, CAE, Executive Director Washington Society of Association Executives, highly recommends this conference.

She writes: “Bud Crouch is one of the most knowledgeable and engaging speakers in the country on the subject of strategic governance and what it takes to achieve organizational goals. The 2-day conference he is leading in Seattle on April 1 & 2 is comparable to the ASAE CEO Symposium that Bud presents across the country - but at less than half the cost of the ASAE program! There is no more effective way for a nonprofit organization's elected leader and executive director to jump start their year of shared vision and partnership than by attending this conference.”
